| description: fluid. interference confronts the movement of -fluid-. a sculptural trial construction attempts to link the elements of water, oscillations and wave formations together. the object fluid.interference consists of a glass vessel about Æ 0.5, half filled with water and stirring on a round platform. the surface of the water will be vibrated by two unseen sources of oscillation. a slight shift in pattern will be visible. principle: the experimental model forms the essence for the basis of interference. two oscillation sources create this interference pattern, one of the two sources is stable = continual, another shifts its frequency slightly (shifting of the interference pattern) see also atem, frozen water |
